Krzysztof Tarka, Managing Partner of Tarka Executive’s, has been invited to give a lecture opening the discussion on the need to change the attitudes and behaviors of business leaders. The speech takes place during the first “Time for ESG” conference organized by ADN Akademia. In his presentation, Krzysztof Tarka relies on in-depth research of the management staff of companies, universities and other institutions involved in the energy transformation.
In particular, on the conclusions of the Report prepared by Tarka Executive’s for InnoEnergy. It focuses on the opinions and observations of leaders from energy companies. As well as in the study conducted for the Instituto Superior Técnico in Lisbon and the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice. It describes the development needs of specialist staff and line managers in the field of university education in the fight against climate change. This study was conducted by Tarka Executive’s with the participation of managers from Poland, Germany, France and Great Britain. The background of the speech are also the 3 editions of the Business-People™ Research conducted in Poland by Tarka Executive’s since 2011.
All of the above research sources and Tarka Executive’s consulting and educational experience point to significant deficits. They are about managerial and leadership competencies that are key to an effective fight against climate change and a successful transformation towards green energy. These deficits concern not only the management staff of companies. But also, the leadership staff of universities and non-governmental organisations. Krzysztof Tarka’s speech certainly differs in tone and content from other lectures at this type of events. But as a result, Krzysztof Tarka and Tarka Executive’s are invited, among others, to participate in the initiative: Chapter Zero Poland – Chapter Zero Poland. The world simply needs different leaders, acting differently. If it is to become different place than before.
